Contraindication

Not suitable if you or a family member has had medullary thyroid carcinoma (MTC), you have MEN 2, or you have had a serious allergic reaction to tirzepatide or any ingredient.

Side Effects

May cause nausea, diarrhea, reduced appetite, vomiting, constipation, indigestion, or abdominal pain; rare but serious risks include pancreatitis, gallbladder problems, kidney injury, low blood sugar, and severe allergic reactions.

How to administer Mounjaro®

Simple step-by-step guidance
1 Wash hands Gather your pen, a new needle, alcohol swab, and sharps container.
2 Check the pen Confirm the label and expiry date. The liquid should be clear and colourless.
3 Attach a new needle Wipe the rubber seal, then push and screw on a fresh needle. Use a new one every time.
4 Prime each new pen Before the first dose from a new pen, check the flow as directed until a stream appears.
5 Choose and clean the site Use the abdomen or thigh. Wipe with an alcohol swab and let it dry.
