What is the Yuzpe method?

The Yuzpe method uses combined oral contraceptive pills, the kind with both an estrogen and a progestin, at a higher dose than daily use. It is named after Albert Yuzpe, the Canadian doctor who first described it, and it has been used around the world for decades.
